Artist statement:
I use technology to gain new understandings of time, place and space. The shifting of value systems, contradictions, possibilities and migration of identity, and a dynamic relation to place are dominant for me. I like getting inside machines (software & hardware) and touching their inner parts.

Bio.
Raised in Tasmania, Australia. After a childhood spent in acrobatics, dance theatre, she began training in Sydney NSW, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Performance Studies/Dance The University of Sydney. Singer in noise bands such as: illegitimate, la coliere`Sale Amserdam Girl punkrock, mechanical vaudevillian 'Toydeath' as SG Ballerina, a group that circuit bends & re-purposes children's electronic toys. From 2001-4 I was an artist participant at DasArts,researching dance and theatre, coming into contact with performance software, i.e. KeyWorx, PureData, Lisa,I began inter-mixing Live and online performance. I made and performed various projects such as: "sister Outsider's Operation Manual for the Heart", "electric-theatric Operation", and "sister O media divination", "All of us (girls) have been dead for so long... My work is produced in Australia, Asia, South America and Europe. Featured in publications including: "art& d: research and Development in Art" v2/Nai publishers: Rotterdam (05), ‘Connected : Live Art’ WaagSociety Catalogue (05), and journal "Writings on Dance" #23 vibrant bodies/ complex systems.
