The Powerball lottery draw on Monday climbed to around $ 416 million with a cash option of $ 299.5 million. The winning numbers for December 27 were 36, 38, 45, 62 and 64. The Powerball drawn was 19 with a Power Play of 2x.

Still no lucky winner has hit the jackpot. However, one player won $ 1 million and two players reportedly bought the Power Play, earning them $ 2 million each by matching five cue ball numbers. Meanwhile, a total of 19 players won the third prize, which is $ 50,000, while six players with a Power Play purchase won $ 100,000 each. They matched four of the white ball numbers and the red Powerball. Many won smaller prizes, including 419 players who found four cue ball numbers, bringing their winnings to $ 100, while 128 people with Power Play took home $ 200 each.

Previous Powerball the jackpots were unclaimed, the jackpot for the upcoming December 29th draw climbed to $ 441 million with a cash option of $ 317.5 million.

For a chance to win the grand prize, a player must match the six numbers on their ticket to the six-number combination drawn. The five numbers should be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, while the remaining number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

To claim the jackpot prizes, the winners will have options, they can choose their prize in the form of an annuity or a lump sum payment. The annuity guarantees the winner to receive 30 progressive payments over 29 years. Annual payments increase by 5% until the 30th and last payment. The 30 payments added up correspond to the value of the pension.

Powerball costs $ 2 per game. Powerball is available in 45 states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

The draws take place Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m. ET. During this time, sell-off times vary depending on the selling jurisdiction, primarily one to two hours before the draw time.
