Emily Ratajkowski has the most literal take on fall fashion

Miranda Priestly, the fierce fiction editor of The devil wears Prada, famous made it clear that wearing flowers in the spring is not revolutionary. Wearing leaves in the fall, however, could it be? Of course, it’s nothing new to embrace earthy tones when the leaves start to turn, but Emily Ratajkowski took fall fashion one step further by sporting brown separates with a foliage print.

The model attended the US Open women’s singles quarter-final match wearing form-fitting knitted pieces from London label KNWLS, including a long-sleeved top and the cult Halcyon leggings, printed with a leaf motif . EmRata styled her separates with a sleek black shoulder bag and pointy boots.

Ratajkowski is the latest in a long line of stars to fall for KNWLS’ sexy designs. Kaia Gerber wore the plaid Halcyon leggings for her 21st birthday on September 3, Dua Lipa is a fan of the Razr spike bag, Hailey Bieber was seen wearing the brand’s flippy skirt and Rihanna wore a cat print mini dress when she was pregnant.

The duo behind KNWLS, Charlotte Knowles and partner Alexandre Arsenault, are back on schedule for London Fashion Week after a break for Autumn/Winter 2022. As alumni of Lulu Kennedy’s pioneering initiative, Fashion East, they were recently awarded the XLNC Bursary – a new program that Lulu and Fashion East Projects Manager Raphaelle Moore has launched in collaboration with Ugg – which will support KNWLS’ ongoing projects and Spring/Summer 2023 showcase .
