Brave puddles of slush on your way to Chelsea Market and check out the Joy Gryson sample sale, which kicked off yesterday morning. We popped into the sale earlier today to find plenty of Italian leather handbags at 70% off their retail prices.

We spotted some super cool pieces before we even walked through the front door. Along the front window was the IIIbeca by Joy Gryson Mini Moma Bag with Electric Blue Sheepskin ($ 39) and a slightly larger Moma Bag in Red with Gray Sheepskin ($ 57). Along the back wall were more leather bags, including a few printed bags ($ 90). One of our favorites was the Louvre Satchel bag with red printed calfskin ($ 114) – see the gallery for more styles and colors.

In the center of the retail space were a bunch of calfskin backpacks in five different colors ($ 120). The only color we didn’t see was solid black, but we were told the all-black backpack would return later today. On the same table were more styles from the IIIbeca collection, including a leather backpack with studded suede in gray and bubblegum ($ 60).

Along the back wall there were plenty of shoulder strap styles in multiple colors ($ 105), as well as the black sheepskin and distressed metal Molly clutch (starting at $ 90).

The sale runs through Sunday at the Chelsea Market and will continue at the Tribeca store until the end of next week. Sellers told us that the 70% discount will also be honored in the store this week, where there are more colors and shapes to choose from. Check out the Dealfeed below for more on this sale.
