New Delhi: Fashion-focused online marketplace Myntra has launched sportswear brand ‘New Balance’ on its platform as it strives to expand its portfolio of international brands.
New Balance will sell a range of products through Myntra, featuring athletic shoes, apparel, bags and accessories for men and women. The brand will initially offer more than 50 storage units before increasing its collection.
The list of brands will help Myntra cater to the growing domestic sports and fitness market in India, which has particularly seen a surge post-pandemic. Myntra said casual shoes or sneakers, as well as open shoes and athleisure have seen strong traction on its platform over the past few months.

Myntra will work to boost New Balance’s visibility on its Myntra shopping app, with a substantial presence on Myntra’s live and social commerce platforms, Myntra Studio and M-Live.
“Additionally, the brand also has a dedicated store on M-Mall for shoppers to seamlessly browse its vast collection of styles and designs,” he added.
Myntra, part of the Flipkart Group, Myntra has partnered with over 5,000 fashion and lifestyle brands in the country such as H&M, Levis, US Polo Assn., Tommy Hilfiger, Louis Philippe, Jack & Jones , Mango, Forever 21, Urbanic, Marks & Spencer among others.
