Britain’s Got Talent viewer brand shows ‘fix’ as famous singer wins series’ first Golden Buzzer


Britain’s Got Talent viewers blasted the show tonight for a ‘fix’ after a famous singer won the show’s first Golden Buzzer.

The talent show, shown on ITV starring Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams and hosted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly – returned to our screens tonight after a two-year absence due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, it was the last performance of the evening that caused a stir with viewers at home, as the Golden Buzzer was handed out by Amanda Holden for a stunning performance of Never Enough.

It was revealed on tonight’s show that it was Loren Allred who played, who fans may know as the singer behind the huge hit The Greatest Showman, which also stars Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya.

The Greatest Showman was a massive hit globally, and although Loren did not appear in the film, she did the vocals for the hit song’s iconic performance, with actress Rebecca playing the part. Ferguson, who portrays opera singer Jenny Lind.

Fans of the ITV talent show took to Twitter to vent their frustrations as Amanda pressed her Golden Buzzer.

Viewers were not happy

“Wait… This woman is the real singer who couldn’t sing enough of the greatest showman. That’s cheating… That’s unfair… #BGT,” one wrote, while another added, “what a fucking solution!!! Buttercup shit.”

A second shared: “I thought #BGT, was it to discover new talents?! which solution !”

As she made her way to the iconic London Palladium stage, Loren introduced herself and explained what she was doing on the show. “I think some of you may have heard my voice, but you won’t know my face,” she told the audience.

There were shocked faces from the judges as Loren revealed her true identity and explained that she was more “comfortable singing backstage” and therefore had never decided to do it, but wanted to try. now.
