Gucci unveils new line of cheerful furniture and homewares

You’ve bought the Gucci bag and shoes, and even the brand’s new line of chic pet accessories, so what’s next? Those looking to complete the designer look can outfit their home with a new range of Gucci decor offerings, from chairs and blankets to candles and cushions.

The latest line for the home from creative director Alessandro Michele draws much of its inspiration from the flora and fauna of the great outdoors, a muse particularly evident in campaign photography, which pairs the product with large topiaries in the shape of sofa and teapot. There is a sense of fantasy that is reminiscent of the dreamlike aesthetic of Alice in Wonderland both in these shots and in the collection, which features candy hues like mint green and bubblegum pink.

The 18th century inspired chairs are available in a wide range of bright colors.

New product offerings include metal candles, available in four different scents and matching designs, and playful hand-shaped trinket holders. Of course, the Gucci monogram makes an appearance throughout the collection, embroidered on blankets, cushions and emblazoned on various tote trays.

If subtle designer decor is more your style, then 18th century-inspired tufted armchairs, with colorful trimming details, make a statement without being too over the top. A line of silver flatware with animal head detailing and crystal glassware are other options. Those who want to decorate their entire home in Gucci can grab one of the house’s new wallpapers, which continue the theme of verdant flowers and bright, sunny hues.

Ready to remodel? The new collection is now available for purchase on the Gucci website. Unfortunately, cabinet-sized topiaries are not included.
